About us
The missions of Synetam

As a professional union under the Law of 1884, Synetam brings together and represents in France manufacturers of equipment and utensils for catering and culinary arts: Kitchenware – Cutlery – Tableware – Laundry – Smoke ducts.

Synetam responds to the need for a modern organization capable of effectively addressing the new social, economic, and environmental challenges facing businesses: industrial sovereignty, ecological and energy transition, industry 4.0, competitiveness, employment and training, innovation.

Our objective is to promote our professions through ongoing exchange among our members and throughout the industry, by anticipating customer needs, by implementing corporate social responsibility, and by promoting innovation.

Synetam brings together 87 leading manufacturers with a turnover of €1.5 billion and employing 7,000 people, mostly composed of SMEs, French manufacturers, and French subsidiaries of international manufacturers.
