CAPIC, a family-owned company (Quimper, France), has been designing, producing and marketing cooking appliances since 1955.
Our teams have developed a plancha with a new cooking technology, the plasma system – patented with the INPI – which can heat a plate to 200°C in less than 6 min.
This plancha has 4 independent thermostatically controlled heating zones for direct cooking or in pans. The plasma system enables to heat within a degree: it allows choosing precisely the needed temperature and do not burn your food!
Its rapid rise in temperature and its low energy consumption allow it to compete with induction systems.
This is why CAPIC has won the SIRHA innovation Award 2019! This prize will be awarded at Sirha exhibition (Lyon 26/30.01.19 – CAPIC stand: Hall 5 n°D82).
